Altrive’s job is to keep his smile on and his mouth shut and Altrive’s job is to ignore the horrible jealousy in his stomach when Mason is allowed to step off the train to help them down. It’s an expected role for his level of experience. After all, Altrive hasn’t been working on this train for very long. ~ On the road to hell, there was a railroad line.
