Given Lila’s previous lies, the class immediately latched onto the idea that Isabelle was Ladybug. And as Isabelle only gave them a cheeky ‘Ladybug has her secret identity to uphold’, they went full force. Adrien knew that Isabelle wasn’t really Ladybug. While he could be an idiot sometimes, he knew two things. The first, is that Lila is a liar, and Ladybug wasn’t her ‘bestie’. The second, is that Ladybug would never tell anyone her secret identity. - Yeah this is based on all those 'Lila gets someone to pretend to be Ladybug' fics but my own spin on it because I have IDEAS
