Fics like Bittersweet

This story is based on a deleted scene from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. It takes place the night Etta Place leaves them in Bolivia to return to the United States. The scene was not in keeping with the good-natured humor of the rest of the film, in fact, was much too serious an omen of things to come.
