Fics like The Long Slide

In which Scripps and Posner have a day out in the country and get sprinkled with fairy dust (kinda). As the afternoon wears on, they fall to indolence, contemplation and old habits. Scripps sitting, legs out, ankles crossed, face up to the sun and Pos with his head on Scripps’ thigh looking at the deep blue air, plucking at the grass.
