Fics like The Audacious Tales of the Lost Cipher and Her Daredevil Crew

In the far, distant future, humankind has rotted away, governed under the corrupted rule of the Federation. Its people suffer, suffocated by callous megacorporations, while its despotic elites are content to turn a blind eye as long as their pockets grow with every passing second. However, from the depths of this depravity, a group of young heroes shall rise, roaring with hot-blooded vengeance and fury. With a stolen Federation ship rechristened as 'The Lost Cipher', they shall sail the sea of stars, committing outrageous acts of violence, engaging in reckless romances, and dismantling the Federation, piece by bloody piece. They are the Mystery Kids. This is their tale. Scenario 3: Caught off guard by a Federation ambush, the crew of the Lost Cipher faces their darkest hour, until aid comes from a familiar ally.
