Fics like Hand Me Your Armour

Greg Lestrade has been carrying a torch for Mycroft Holmes for years. Between cases and the petty dramas of life, he can mostly keep it at bay, flickering on a low burn in the back of his mind. However, after he's pulled into a search and rescue operation for the man, he finds himself thrust into an unexpected role. He's trying to be respectful - and careful - but Mycroft Holmes is a force to be reckoned with, and the torch is burning brighter than ever.
