Fics like Like A Light Gone Out

A fun night at an inn. A night-hunt gone wrong. A simple mistake, made by whom? No one knows. Not Lan Sizhui, who had just been so tired. Not Lan Jingyi, who had been so scared. Not Jin Ling, who had been so brash. Not Ouyang Zizhen, who had been so proud to help. And not Wei Wuxian, who only knows one thing: Lan Wangji is dying, and no one knows what to do about it and whether or not he is ever going to wake up again. Lan Xichen thought he had already hit rock bottom. He soon learns that he can still feel even worse. That he has still something – someone – left to lose. Jiang Cheng thought he could finally stop caring. He was wrong, but now it may be too late, and no one seems to be left who even wants him to care. Morale at Cloud Recesses is in shambles as feelings of guilt, fear, worry, anger, sorrow and pain culminate, either to end in violent disaster or to offer a chance to heal, to grow and to bridge gaps between people destined to always be connected to each other.
