Fics like Compromise

Din places him on the ground. “I’ve been looking for the jedi for years. I heard you can train people. He’s one of your kind.” Skywalker’s eyes widen as the kid looks up at him nervously. He lowers himself down to one knee and reaches out a hand, offering it open-palmed to the child. “Hello, there,” he whispers. “I knew another like you, once. He was a very great jedi.” ----- After years of searching, Din finally finds where the kid belongs. But doing what's right and doing what's expected are two different things.
