Fics like to be the very best

Timothy never considered the idea of being a Pokemon partner in his entire short life. Janet Drake hates them, and Jack Drake doesn't seem to care. So while he loves them, envies them, Timothy never thought to bring one into his life. That is, until Noibat. Suddenly Tim is thrown in the life of a Pokemon Trainer that he never expected, and one he's entirely unprepared for. Every Trainer has to start somewhere right?
