Fics like The Platoon of the Eastern Gate

At his creation, Aziraphale was made to be a warrior. He was created for a sword in his hand to be an extension of his being. He was granted ingrained skill and assigned a platoon of 42 angels to train and command. While he may have been made to be a warrior, and was a fighter of flawless technique and incredible skill, Aziraphale never wanted to be a warrior. He had no passion for the fight. But it was his duty, and Aziraphale was nothing of not obedient.
