Fics like touched for the very first time

It’s hard, especially because of how much he wants it. How much he wants everything with Pat, how he wants to bear his fucking soul to Pat, wants Pat to take the reins of his body and run away with it. But it’s not as easy as just wanting: his body and mind still associate being touched with fear, and he can’t help but feel prickles of panic whenever he finds himself vulnerable around Pat. Recovery is not a one step process; it's more like a ladder. Brian finds himself stuck on the middle rung.
