Fics like Two halves to a whole

In ways known to each other, there is no point, apparently, in one being in the shadow and one claiming all the credit in the Water Boys. It’s very extreme, in an irony of a show of equality - either they both become a whole single Pillar by some miracle of Nature and Magic and The Laws, or they both reject the Pillar offer in their eerie twin-like way of speaking and being and existing. That speaks volumes about how they function, seeing as the Tokitou twins concede defeat, as twins, after witnessing their interactions. The reason Sabito isn't a Pillar yet is because of Tomioka, and the reason Tomioka isn't a Pillar yet is because of Sabito - and Urokodaki refuses to relinquish any more disciples of his beyond these two, so people will have to chip at it until one of these stubborn mules accept the post. (Or from Tomioka-Sabito to Sabito-Giyuu, from two halves to a whole)
