Fics like spider-baby was compromised

Peter strains again, putting all his strength into breaking them, getting himself free, but the handcuffs don’t budge at all, like they don’t know he’s a superhero that can totally get out of this stuff with no problems on the regular. Or they know, and they don’t care. Peter sighs, his heart beating a little faster. It isn’t as if he’s languishing in some villain’s rotting basement. He’s in the new compound, in one of the weapon armories. And he...did this to himself. He’s supposed to be able to get out. That was the whole point of this, the whole test, and now he’s...now he’s trapped.
