Fics like Spit it out, you idiot!

Link is told his fate is to save the world, that the Goddess Hylia chose him a hundred years ago for this purpose. But the boy who entered her service died, and Link feels no obligation toward the divinity who let that happen, nor toward the ruined world around him. He'd much rather travel the world with the bokoblin friend he made, and try to see how many things he can eat before Calamity Ganon destroys them all. He never expected to start liking Hyrule and its inhabitants.
