Fics like A Winter in Winhill

A basic coffee shop AU. -- "I have very interesting news about one of your locals," Xu said. Seifer lifted an eyebrow at Squall, knowing he could hear Xu over the phone and that the information likely had to do with him. Squall closed his eyes again and cuddled into Seifer's chest as if he didn't care. "You're such a gossip," Seifer said, relaxing a little and smirking. Xu huffed a laugh, meaning she had something good enough that she couldn't even be mad at his ribbing. “Alright, what have you got?” "The Estharian First Son is currently living in Winhill in secret," Xu said, dropping the bomb without preamble. Seifer looked down at Squall again, but the faker was the perfect image of deep sleep, not reacting in the slightest. “Come again?”
