Yukihiko is lying on Nico's futon, his long-abandoned book resting on his chest, watching as Nico keeps fiddling with a few lines of code. He's been hanging out here even more than usual lately – with the Ekiden behind them, Nico's been working on his assignments, finally motivated enough to finish his third year, and Yukihiko's decided to make sure he doesn't slack off. Plus, it's nice here: Yukihiko likes the peaceful, quiet company with the occasional bickering. It lets him focus on his books, and the soft clacking of the keys as Nico types is comforting. Except Yukihiko finds that he reads less and less as his gaze keeps wandering from the pages to Nico’s broad back, his soft sweatshirts, his neck, his profile. Yukihiko pines.
