Fics like Pain Is The First Step In Finding Happiness

Just the thought of his soulmark can put Wade into an anger filled frenzy. He hated it with every cancer filled fiber in his body from the moment it tore itself into his skin. Well, maybe that last part isn’t true. He used to love his soulmark… Until Weapon X. He remembers breaking out of that stupid fucking chamber to find that every part of him grew back except his mark. Just another part of his body that looks like a melted flesh fondue. He despised it. From the moment he turned eighteen, Peter Parker fell in love with his soulmark. Peter’s heart seemed to skip beats in anticipation. He hesitated as he gripped the bottom of his shirt, twisting the fabric as he tried to build up the courage to finally see who he was destined to love. It terrified him if he was going to be honest with himself. Unfortunately… all his wishes came to an end not that long ago. Just thinking about it can make Peter turn sick for days at a time. He refers to it as the incident.
