Fics like Telling Tales

Based on this prompt from the kink meme. Bilbo does not have time to find his ring in the forest before the company is captured by elves. Surprised to find a hobbit in their midst, the elves bring Bilbo before the elvenking for questioning. Stoic silence isn't really Bilbo's thing, but once he realizes lying isn't all that different from telling a story, he's got a plan. In which Thranduil is either a huge romantic or looking to cause trouble, Dwalin is confused, and Bilbo knows that the best stories begin with a kernel of truth.
