“I hate you,” Andrew snaps, voice crackling over the phone. “Love you too,” Neil replies. “I’ll be there soon.” Andrew hangs up immediately. Neil puts his phone in his pocket and turns back to Matt and Dan, who are gawking at him, having heard the whole conversation. “He hates you,” Dan says suspiciously. “Neil. You must realize how that sounds.” “Does he expect you to fix his coffee machine? Is that why he called you?” Matt asks. Neil scoffs. “You can stop mother henning, assholes. I don’t know if he expects me to fix the coffee machine,” he spits sarcastically. “I might end up doing it because it’s our coffee machine because we have lived together for nearly a year. What the hell are you trying to get at here?” Sometimes Neil's friends forget that Andrew is a real person behind his tattoos.
