In which events in Erebor go rather differently than they should, and fairy tales are not as much fun to live as everyone was led to believe. No one sings about their feelings, dragons get overly attached to their wards, hobbit’s hate adventures, drinks aren’t allowed, towers suck- And Thorin is not a damsel in distress. (Regardless of what Dwalin says.) He isn’t. A fairytale AU loosely inspired by Shrek.
