Fics like Carrion Flowers

“I have a suggestion,” Vergil says, and Dante raises an eyebrow at that, tilting his head back so it’s resting on his twin’s shoulder and he’s able to see the side of his face, upside down though it may be. “Hit me.” “How does petty revenge sound." (Post-DMC5. They're already in the underworld, so what better time to march right up to Mundus' front door and kick his ass, right? Dante figures this should be pretty easy, since he's beat the guy once already--except it's not, because why would it be, nothing in his life has ever been easy. Between Vergil's unstable mental state and their mutual refusal to have a proper conversation, it's going to be a miracle if they even survive long enough to confront the king of hell.)
