Twenty men and women have been told they are vying for the love of multi-billionaire Sakata Gintoki, but the truth is, Sakata Gintoki is a lazy man with naturally curly hair. When only one eligible bachelor or bachelorette remains, he or she will be told the truth and given a choice: take five million yen and never see Gintoki again, or walk away from the money and choose to be with Gintoki. The show’s premise was sound, but everything else about it was flawed. Gin the Billionaire was a reality TV failure.
