Cas is looking forward to finally showing off a boyfriend at his cousin's wedding, thus getting his family off his back about his relationship status. When they break up only a week before the big event, Cas is more upset about the loss of his date than the actual breakup. His long-time roommate and best friend Dean hates to see Cas upset, so he does what any good roomie would do. He volunteers to be Cas' plus one for the wedding of the year. Free food and entertainment, sounds like a good deal all around, right? Best of all, he gets to stop hiding how he really feels about Cas, at least for a little while.
