Cas enjoyed a quiet, pleasant life. A little lonely in the love department, perhaps, but he had a comfortable rhythm to his days thanks to running his basement bookstore, Subtext. His days got a nice little shake-up when a hurricane blew a fantastically beautiful book-lover into his store; Unfortunately, Dean wasn't from Sioux Falls, and Cas wasn't sure if he was interested in any more than a dry place to pass the time. Obviously, Cas didn't pine. He was far too sensible for that. Or so he told himself.
