“There’s a situation,” Mark tells Jaemin over the phone. “Did you fall down the stairs again?” Jaemin asks. “No,” Mark says, and glances over at Donghyuck. “It’s—well, there’s a zombie, for one—” “A what—” “And, uh, in my previous life, we dated,” Mark continues. “Apparently.” There’s silence on the other end of the phone. “For the record,” Donghyuck points out, “I’m not a zombie.” (or: donghyuck hops out casket-fresh, and mark starts to believe, just a little, in soulmates.)
