Fics like Polishing Jade

A modern-day AU. Wei Wuxian's family, the Jiangs, are worried about their adopted son/brother, as he's not doing much with his life after having graduated high school. Madam Yu manages to get him a date with a young, very rich man, with the ultimate goal of marriage as predetermined by the uncle of Wei Wuxian's date -- if Wei Wuxian and this Lan Wangji are at all compatible. Unfortunately, Wei Wuxian finds his partner to be excruciatingly boring. But he can't bring himself to turn the man down after just one encounter, so he decides to give Lan Wangji another chance. And another. And several more. Wei Wuxian soon realises that there's more to Lan Wangji than meets the eye. This is a story about two young men learning to accept each other, themselves and helping each other to overcome their pasts. Russian translation can be read here! 5/15/20 Update: Formatting has finally been fixed! Apologies for taking so long. If that was putting you off, it hopefully shouldn't be an issue anymore.
