Fics like In my heart there's a smoldering fire (and it's you)

New York City. Simon Saunders and Jeremy Travers moved here right after their BA in theatre, a young couple in love ready to live their dream. Everything seemed perfect; but now, at 26, Jeremy is in a new relationship and is doing his first Broadway musical, while Simon is getting married with another man. They haven't spoken to each other since they broke up three years ago, but what happens when a casual meeting revives the smoldering fire and brings everything into question? Is it really over?
