Fics like Sand and Silver

John lived his life with his feet firmly on the ground and a strong fear of flying. After an accident on the battlefield sends him home with a wound and a dragon, his new flatmate Sherlock takes it upon himself to cure John's fears and show him that flying as a dragon rider can be just as exhilarating as running on the battlefields, especially when there are murders to be solved and a killer is lurking in London Aerie.
