Fics like growing pains
“a kiss,” he says suddenly. he sticks his little legs down, dragging his feet on the ground to stop him from swinging as he looks over at yoongi. “i want a kiss for my birthday.” yoongi stops swinging, too, giving him a careful look. it only occurs to jeongguk then that maybe yoongi has a girlfriend—or a boyfriend—and asking for a kiss isn’t a good idea. but his heart clenches anyway, and he wants it in the only way five-year-olds can want anything: totally, achingly, with an all-consuming need to have it now. (or: at five, jeongguk asks his best friend yoongi for a kiss. when he grows up, he learns—sometimes it’s not that easy. and sometimes it is.)
