If the play were given: which it will not, because the Ministry of Public Decency would never allow such an outrage. Such a work, they would claim, could not possibly exist, and if it did they would confiscate it faster than a honey addict grabs a teaspoon. Where, then, originates this penny suchenroman you now read? No knowing: but it's a ripping yarn. Quite literally.
