Fics like Bedtime Wishes and Goodnight Kisses
In the late hours of the night, at 12:39AM, an infant is found in the dumpster behind Amy's Pizzeria. David, a foster child with less-than-satisfactory parents, is tasked with raising said baby, a result of his caretakers' hunger for tax deductions. With worsening domestic conditions and a kid on his hands, he does the thing that'll save the both of them. He flees. Living at the house of his old camp master, Cameron Campbell, and with the help of his friends Jasper and Gwen, David tries to give little Max the best life he can provide him. Even if that means evading a cult or two.
