Fics like it's a long shot, but-

“He’s in the dangerous second phase of lovesickness,” Bruce says, straight-faced as Tony twitches behind him. “The third is refusal to eat, which can lead to death by starvation if the condition isn’t rectified immediately.” General Ki growls, the sound coming like static between his oddly-shaped jaw and even odder teeth. “Skri- Stark is an invaluable asset to the empire! This illness must be eradicated immediately, Dr. Banner. What is the cure?” “A mate,” Bruce says, re-adjusting his glasses. “Skri-Stark must be paired with a mate, and soon. If not, he will succumb within several weeks.” (Or, the world has fallen to aliens and Steve and Tony come up with a plan to take it back.)
