Fics like Overlooked

Carol is an ER doctor who recently moved back home from NYC to Maryland to help take care of her parents. Her wife of fifteen years is dead and Carol is struggling with it. Therese is a writer and a mother, with her own personal struggles and secrets. POV from both Carol and Therese. Trigger warning here, people, READ AT YOUR OWN RISK! This story deals with a suicide and self-harm. However, there are no major character deaths. I'm not in the business of killing off two of my favorite women.
