Fics like I Thought These Flowers Wilted a Long Time Ago, But-

Hoseok thought he could ignore it all. The pull in his chest, the thundering of his heart, the gummy smiles he loved- But he couldn't. Not when thin flower petals began to fall from his lips. Not when he couldn't keep himself from running to the bathroom every hour, desperately hiding the deep reds that crawled up his throat. Not when he couldn't hold back quiet sobs each time he thought of every reason in the universe he couldn't be with Min Yoongi. Optimism, joy, love. "So the surgery gets rid of the petals... and the feelings?" "Yes it does, but there's also-" "-Then this is what I want." "...Alright." (A fic where Hoseok gets the Hanahaki disease and thinks he's hopeless.) (spoilers: he's not.)
