Fics like On a Pagan Path

Sam Winchester wasn’t raised to the Christian faith like Mary would have wanted. Instead, he found his own path, and dedicated himself to the Trickster god, Loki, in his first semester of college. Unfortunately, angels and demons already have a plan for him and his brother. They’re not going to be happy to know that Lucifer’s vessel already belongs to a demigod. They'll be in more trouble if anyone realizes exactly who that demigod is. By the time Loki recognizes Sam as Lucifer's Vessel, it’s too late to reverse the ritual. He would never admit to it, but he wouldn't give up the young Winchester even if he could. (This is a parallel AU, retelling seasons 1-5. It’ll get further and further from canon as time goes on. It may be updated again someday - as of March 2025, I'm still hopeful that I'll come back to it.)
