Fics like Ree-ko

When Private wakes up after an experiment gone wrong, he discovers that Rico's noises are actually a language, offering Private a chance for the truth of what happened to his parents. Skipper and Kowalski refuse to talk, but Rico decides to disobey their orders. All he has to do is get Private alone. But when he finally does, their commanding officers are taken by their archnemesis, Dr. Blowhole. It's up to them to delve into each penguin's past, meeting key players that shaped their lives to find out the truth. If they don't, Blowhole will finally have his chance to destroy his enemies and tear apart all that they've built.
