Fics like You Call This Acting?

“It’s official—the long-awaited Ladybug and Chat Noir movie has cast its two leads! This fall, Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste will leap onto the big screen as Paris’s favorite superheroes!” People keep asking Marinette and Adrien what the “secret” is to playing Ladybug and Chat Noir. Quite separately, they answer that they’re just being themselves. They’re not kidding. Adrien’s big break and Marinette’s accidental movie audition end up endangering their secret identities. How are they supposed to hide the fact that they are their roles from the whole world and each other? It’s not unethical for superheroes to play themselves, right? NOTE: Yes, if you're wondering, this is the fic that was potentially plagiarized by the actual writers in the episode "Frighteningale" (9-27-2018). No, I'm not kidding. This crackfic is now at least partially canon. You're welcome.
