Fics like First of the New

The war is lost. In a galaxy overrun by the tyrannical FIRST ORDER, a threadbare RESISTANCE languishes in exile on Crait. Among them is the newly-dubbed Jedi, REY KENOBI. Her Force bond with darksider KYLO REN remains a secret, until he goes missing under mysterious circumstances. Rey must reconcile with a most unlikely ally and rescue Kylo from a fate worse than death. No one is safe from the ancient evil of DARTH PLAGUEIS, who terrorizes the Resistance and the First Order alike. Only together can they defeat the true enemy and finally bring balance to the Force… Or: a very canon-divergent excuse for Reylo and Gingerpilot to (reluctantly) cohabitate on the Finalizer, then (accidentally) fall in love... all while they (try to) save the galaxy.
