Fics like In Requius Effervescent Memoriam (In R.E.M.)

When your life was uprooted and you and your friends were transported into the game, literally everything was new. Your surroundings were new, your goals were new, and so were most of your relationships seemingly newly reborn. Like dating Jake. An actual, honest-to-god romantic relationship. You had no fucking idea what you were doing. Cohabitation, romance, and, well...sex. Just because it was all new and unfamiliar and kind of awkward didn't really curb either of your enthusiasm to try, though. (At least, at first.) And despite the awkwardness, those first few attempts at intimacy with the boy you'd been in love with practically your whole life end up as some of your fondest memories. (AKA: Dirk and Jake try oral for the very first time.) --Changed from a potential multi-chapter that never came to be into a oneshot.--
