Fics like we're leaving (let's go home)

“hyung,” jeongguk’s voice rasped through the tiny speaker. “p-please, help me.” yoongi looked up sharply at namjoon, and something in his face must have conveyed the utter panic that enveloped him the second he heard their maknae’s weak voice, because the anger his leader had at jeongguk vanishing on them disappeared. joonie’s face became pale, and his mouth opened, but before he could say anything, yoongi shot into the phone, “jeongguk-ah, where the hell are you?” there was a grating noise that came from the phone after he asked the question that had been on the minds of six other boys for the last three hours. no answer. “gukkie?” “oh, how cute. the poor hyungs are worried.” a grainy voice over the phone somehow managed to be mocking. however, that tone was quickly changed with the next three sentences. “we want twenty-thousand dollars. you have two hours to get to these coordinates with the cash. if you fail, you will find your precious gukkie, but he’ll be so shattered even his beloved brothers can’t fix him.” or jeongguk's started practicing late at the studio, but it's not the extra practice that's scary. sometimes, it's the walk home.
