Fics like Fallen Embers

Sherlock has given up on life, just like everyone has given up on him. The decision to jump is only logical, but when he is about to take the final step, something happens. Something interesting or rather... someone interesting. Blue eyes swam with tears as they looked down at the dark water once more. This time, he didn't hold them back, as they ran down his cheeks. No one was going to notice his swollen eyes, if his body was found at all. He was alone - always had been - and he would die alone. "Excuse me, mind if I join you?"
