Fics like House of Mist

A Guardian awakes in a flooded metro station on the west coast of what use to be the American empire and encounters a small Fallen House that has taken up residence in that corner of the continent. Initial contact with the local Fallen goes much better than expected, and they might just have use for a Guardian themselves.
