Fics like Strange Little Family

Prompt: "Pale. Karkat helps his Striders adjust to peaceful living." "Karkat Vantas awoke to a new sun rising and a warm face mashed inelegantly against his throat. Sweeps ago, he would have jerked away or lashed out violently, expecting the killing blow to come before he was even fully awake. Today, he didn’t even flinch. Later, he would vehemently deny the fond smile that crossed his face as he curled his fingers through his boyfriend’s hair. Dave mumbled something in his sleep and shifted in an attempt to get closer, as if he didn’t already have all four limbs tangled up with Karkat’s like a lovesick old Earth koala."
