Fics like sweet as cherry wine

“This guy is as boring as bread,” Jack says to his empty living room, pointing his fork at his television. It’s still the beginning of the show and when Connor announces that today’s bake will be a brie and date loaf bread Jack actually groans. He isn’t sure why he keeps watching though. Connor goes through cooking some sauces and happily narrates everything with little interjected stories about his family. Standard cooking show shit. If Jack watches a little too closely when Connor pushes his sleeves up to knead the bread it’s only to watch the technique more carefully, that’s all.
