Fics like Rabbits and Wolves

Darcy Lewis is not happy when SHIELD's thugs show up YET AGAIN and uproot her and Jane, moving their lab to the Avenger's tower for safety reasons... where Jane has everything her little Scientist heart could ever ask for and Darcy is at loose ends. The last thing she thought she wanted was a job at the same shadowy government agency that got her into this mess, but they make her an offer she can't refuse. Literally. Steve Rogers is resigned to playing Captain America. There are even times when he likes it, like the days where he saves lives or makes sick kids smile. But he's always aware that it IS a role, and one that most people don't want to see him step out of. Ever. Sometimes he feels like Steve is getting absorbed into The Captain, and it freaks him out more than giant flying alien worms ever did. This is a story about two people finding themselves, and each other. (I just really wanted to write a "Darcy Lewis, SHIELD agent" story.)
