Fics like Inconvenient Timing

It occurs to Todd – as Dirk hastily closes the door behind them and shoves his face up against the crack in an ineffectual attempt to see through to the corridor beyond – that, compared to how some of their other cases have gone, “hiding in a closet” was one of the better possible outcomes of this investigation. Of course, the universe being what it is, it only takes about three and a half minutes for him to drastically change his mind. Not every pararibulitus attack is painful. But it's still not great to get one when you're trapped in a broom closet with your best friend. Art by gentledirkly on tumblr. Written for the DGHDA Beginner Bang 2017!
