Castiel finally makes a friend while working at the Gas & Sip. He just doesn’t realize his friend owns a few pairs of wings. Gabriel’s instinct was to march right up to the angel—former angel—and demand to know what happened. Or, more to the point, what the Winchesters did, because Gabriel would bet his third left wing that they had their massive hands in this one way or another. But he didn’t march over there at all. Instead he weighed the pros and cons of buying red or black licorice.
