Fics like Ripples on a Black Shore

For Daryl Dixon the world ended days before it did for almost everyone else, and it was heralded with a prerecorded phone message instead of a bang. An AU fic where Daryl met Paul several years before the apocalypse. UPDATE 1/12/2019: I was really put off the ship/fandom when the spoilers about Jesus dying started coming out this past summer, so I decided to end this fic at chapter 25 since there was a nice emotional resolution. Obviously I came back but don't have the inspiration for this particular universe, so I wrote down my plans for a sequel on my tumblr. Check it out: https://tinyurl.com/ripplessequel
